The press conference for the fight between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal, scheduled for July 6, turned into a chaotic scene when the teams of both fighters engaged in a violent brawl.
The event, which aimed to announce the change of venue for the Kia Forum fight in Inglewood, to the Honda Center in Anaheim (California), but was interrupted towards the end by the increasing tensions between the two teams.
The rivalry between Diaz and Masvidal has been present since their controversial encounter in the UFC in 2019, where the Cuban-American won after a doctor stopped the fight due to a cut on Diaz's eye.

"I'm fed up with this crap," declared the American fighter before attempting to leave. The organizers managed to get him to return briefly for the photos, but his early departure sparked emotions.
The critical moment arrived when a member of Díaz's team threw a punch at Masvidal, after the Cuban fighter slapped him.
Jorge Capetillo, Masvidal's trainer, intervened by throwing another punch, sparking a widespread fight between the teams.
Despite the chaos, Team Masvidal managed to restore order without suffering injuries, with the Cuban-American standing out as one of those involved in the scuffle, while Diaz remained on the sidelines and did not participate in the fight.
The images of the brawl are being shared on social media and open up an ethical debate about this type of behavior among professional athletes, before a boxing match that could be memorable in their careers.
