This Thursday, July 4th, marks Independence Day in the United States, a particularly significant date for Cuban singer Seidy La Niña, who celebrates having left Cuba 25 years ago with her mother to start a new life on American soil.

To celebrate her 25 years in the United States, the artist shared photos capturing various moments from her life, from childhood to the present. Some of these were taken with her mother.

"With a suitcase full of dreams and hopes, 25 years ago today, my mom and I arrived in the United States. Thank God for giving us the opportunity to come to this great nation and to fulfill our dreams," commented Seidy La Niña at the end of the post, which was followed by congratulations from her fans and praise for what she has accomplished.

Seidy La Niña arrived in the United States as a child, but she remains very connected to her Cuban roots, as reflected in her music and way of expressing herself. However, it has been in the United States where she has spent most of her life and developed her career as a singer.

Congratulations!
