With several photos in which she poses naturally and a strong message, Seidy La Niña reacted to the criticism for not using filters on social media.
"People get upset because I don't use filters... They prefer the lie over the truth. Oh my, what falseness," she wrote on her social media profiles along with several images, including some close-ups and others that show the effects of hard work in the gym, in which she once again doesn't hide the scar on her abdomen left by the traffic accident that nearly cost her her life 10 years ago.
The reactions from her followers came quickly, accumulating a flood of comments, mostly in support of her stance but also including criticism and hate.
"You don’t need filters, you shine on your own because you are beautiful and have an incredible vibe"; "I am natural like yogurts but I am not sour," some said.
"You are beautiful; you don't need them, and your talent is wow"; "People nowadays prefer a nice lie over a true reality, it’s very sad because there is nothing more beautiful than the natural, and that is you"; "There is no beauty like the natural. Keep shining with your own light"; "People are never happy. You are powerful, when we love ourselves and accept ourselves just as we are, no one can use our imperfections to make us feel bad," others expressed.
However, not all reactions were positive or supportive of her stance: "Your outfits get worse every day"; "What matters is talent, and you don't have it, because to be an artist you need to have a voice, and you think that with all the vulgarities you say and do on social media, you are already an artist."
Others, on the other hand, shared their views on the use and abuse of filters on digital platforms and why some people resort to them: "People prefer to see a perfect image on social media, even if it's false"; "Showing yourself as you are is fine, but not everyone understands it"; "Some people don't like reality without filters"; "There are those who think that using filters is not bad, but a way to have fun"; "Many believe that filters enhance the aesthetics of photos"; "Not everyone values naturalness in the same way"; "Some followers prefer an idealized version of their influencers"; "For some, filters are part of the experience on social media"; "Not everyone thinks it's important to show themselves without filters."
