The Cuban reggaeton artist Ja Rulay surprised the child Rutina in Key West by giving him nothing less than 2,000 dollars.
On the Instagram account of Rutina, there is a video of the moment when the urban music singer hands the child the money.
Someone behind the camera asked the child if the money was his and how much there was. Rutina responds affirmatively and says it is 2,000 pesos. Amid laughter, Ja Rulay shows the bills to make it clear that they are dollars and not Cuban pesos.
The video triggered mixed opinions on social media; on one hand, many followers laughed and even praised the singer's gesture, while others unleashed various criticisms.
"Truly this is not content to continue"; "Ignorance at its highest level. I hope you buy many books for the kid with that money who has neither guilt nor idea of what they are doing to him"; "Oh my god! What they are teaching that child. The end"; "I don't understand why they take the kid for that," some wrote in the comments.
At her young age, Rutina has managed, with her naturalness and confidence, to attract the attention of many artists, from Tekashi 6ix9ine to Lenier Mesa, Alejandro Cuervo, Yomil Hidalgo, Dany Ome, and Kevincito E 13, among many others.
The concern of internet users has always been that it is a child doing things that are not appropriate for their age.
