Last Sunday, a brawl broke out during a concert by Oniel Bebeshito, and after images circulated on social media, several users criticized the reggaeton artist for not stopping the music and continuing to sing as if nothing was happening.
The influencer Un Martí To Durako shared the video on his Instagram profiles, and in the comments on his post, several people questioned the singer's attitude.
In the images, the reggaeton artist is seen on stage at a nightclub singing with his group, but suddenly a movement among the security personnel caused the person recording the performance to focus on the area right in front of the stage where the fight had started.
Although it is clearly evident that Bebeshito notices what is happening because he looks in that direction, he let the security staff handle the dispute and continued with his presentation.
“Bebeshito made a huge mistake, especially with the song he was singing at that moment. The first thing he should have done was stop the song and try, as an artist, to speak in order to at least make some attempt to soothe the atmosphere”; “I did not see the professional side as they claim to be, why didn’t he stop the concert at that moment”; “The level of backwardness in this country is very large”; “At that moment, the person with the most influence over the audience is the artist himself. I’m not saying that if he talks, the problem will be solved, but it is ethical for the artist to intervene as he is the main figure in the venue at that moment. Especially when the song that is playing incites violence”; “People don’t know how to share, but Bebeshito should stop the band so that people can come to their senses,” some commented.
"This time, since the stage was so small, they couldn't throw anyone off," wrote an internet user, recalling that a few weeks ago, Bebeshito was involved in a big controversy when a security person forcibly and violently threw a fan off the stage who had jumped up to hug the artist.
