"What hurts the most is the loneliness": The heartbreaking testimony of a Cuban from the U.S.

"I dream of the day I get home and my mom and my sister are there": The outpouring of a Cuban in the U.S.

The Cuban TikToker @leidyoficial has touched her followers with a video in which she vents about the loneliness she faces in the United States. "What hurts the most is the loneliness... coming home from work and not having your mom, not having someone to talk to," she confesses, visibly affected by the distance from her family.

In her post, which already has almost a thousand likes, Leidy describes how difficult the daily routine is without the warmth of her home in Cuba: "I dream of the day I get home and my mom is waiting for me, someone who asks me how my day was." Her words resonated with many users, who share their experience of loneliness and sacrifice abroad.

While some advise her to try to adapt, like a user who commented: "Loneliness makes you stronger," Leidy responds that she cannot get used to it: "I don't like loneliness." Her video has sparked a strong debate among Cubans living outside the island, exposing the emotional impact of life abroad.
