The Cuban singer Mawell has shown his solidarity with El Taiger during these difficult times as he is hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in the head last week in Miami. The reggaeton artist remains admitted to Jackson Memorial Hospital, but the lack of health insurance would worsen his situation, prompting the artistic community to raise funds and prevent him from being disconnected.
Through his Instagram account, Mawell posted a message informing his followers that the official page of El Taiger will soon announce the location where donations can be made. According to Un Martí To Durako in his program, based on information from The Taiger's management team, the money raised is crucial for keeping the singer in the hospital and covering the costs of his treatment, an effort that is uniting several colleagues and fans.
"I also join in donating," wrote the interpreter of "Triple M," thereby demonstrating how committed he is to helping his colleague.
The situation of El Taiger has shocked the community of Cuban urban artists, both inside and outside the island. Oniel Bebeshito has already offered his share of the profits from his collaborations with El Taiger to help cover medical costs, and Mawell has joined this call.
In his post, Mawell also invited his followers to stay tuned for updates on how to contribute.
In recent days, Mawell has organized several vigils in Cuba to pray for the health and recovery of Taiger, participating in these prayers and staying active on social media to inform his fans about everything related to the singer's condition.
