A mother in Santiago de Cuba sought help on social media to recover her children's car, which was stolen this Saturday.
Sucel Inés, mother of the young children, shared a message on Facebook along with a picture of her kids, visibly distressed by what had happened in the San Gerónimo area, she noted.
"Santiagueros, today in San Gerónimo, someone stole my children's car. I'm posting a photo with the kids so you can see the wrong they've done to them. Please, if anyone sees it, contact me or call the police. 'They stole my little ones' car!'" wrote the distressed mother.
The stolen car, as the woman explains, is difficult to open due to a locking mechanism, which could complicate its use or closure.
"Please, help me. It's difficult to open because it's locked, and it's also hard to close," he added in his message requesting support from the community.
"Please be aware," the mother pleaded in her desperate message.
Having a child in Cuba presents a significant economic challenge, from purchasing clothes to buying food, which makes this mother's desperate plea to recover her stolen car all the more understandable.
Sometimes, amidst the deep economic crisis affecting Cubans, individuals with kind hearts and strong human values emerge, making gestures of genuine honesty.
Recently, a mother expressed her gratitude on social media towards a young man who, with a selfless and honest gesture, returned a tablet that her son had lost at the Colón bus stop in Pinar del Río.
Yamile Cruz expressed her gratitude in the Facebook group “TODO - PINAR” towards a young man named Yosniel, whom she described as “an excellent human being and father” for finding and returning the tablet that her son had lost on Sunday at Vial Colón.
