Cuban singer "Mom, I'm Shining" the way at Lenin: "A new superstar is being born in Cuba"

The young Cuban artist was singing some of his biggest hits.


The young Cuban singer Mamá Estoy Brillando (real name Wilfredo Alejandro Sosa Espinosa), one of the most promising emerging stars in music on the island, has thrilled his followers and the student community with his recent visit to the Vladimir Ilich Lenin Vocational School.

During her visit, Mamá Estoy Brillando surprised the students with a performance in which she sang some of her most popular songs, including "La época del amor" and "El verano de mi vida." The young artist shared the moment on her social media, accompanied by a video showing her walking through the school hallways and singing surrounded by the students, who enthusiastically sang along to her songs.

"Yesterday I visited the Lenin and there I understood why its students defend it so much. That place is magical, I felt something special there. I left a little piece of myself when I left. Everyone was very nice to me and showed me a lot of love. I'm grateful for that. Here you have a new friend. I promise to come back soon," wrote the singer.

The warm reception she received was overwhelming. The young people sang her songs from memory, thus demonstrating the great impact that Mamá Estoy Brillando is having on the new generations on the island.

With a rising career and a unique style, this young artist has begun to win the hearts of Cubans with his lyrics and rhythms.
