A Cuban mother desperately pleaded for help on social media this Saturday from authorities and the community to locate her 20-year-old daughter, who allegedly ran away with an ex-convict in Havana.

Aliusky Navas Sardina explained on Facebook that the young woman, identified as Milena Álvarez Navas but known by the nickname "Tita," was last seen wearing a denim skirt, a black polka-dot blouse, and sandals.

According to a relative, Milena is in a vulnerable situation, as she has an injury on one leg and visible marks on her face.

Additionally, she mentioned that an aunt of the young woman claimed to have seen her in the company of a man displaying suspicious behavior.

The mother clarified in another Facebook post that the man with whom her daughter supposedly fled is an ex-convict involved in theft crimes.

In her messages posted on social media, the mother requested the public's assistance in spreading the search and urged the authorities not to halt their efforts.

The mother also provided contact numbers in her message, hoping to get some clue about her daughter's whereabouts: 52002145, 51215411, 50255792, and 79998967825.

Previously, the distressed woman made another post identifying Yuniel Rafael Reyes Meriño as the man who is allegedly with her daughter: “This person is wanted for taking Milena Álvarez Navas. If you are seeing this, please return my daughter; that is all I ask.”

Last Wednesday, the desperate mother expressed her anguish on social media: “I need help from everyone on Facebook and my friends. I want to raise a report: my daughter is missing, I need you to help me find her. Her name is Milena, she lives in Centro Habana and she is 20 years old.”

Since then, he has not stopped pleading for any information about the whereabouts of the young woman.

Reports of people going missing, both inside and outside of Cuba, frequently circulate on social media.

Family and friends, due to the government's inaction, are placing their hopes on desperate announcements to obtain information that could help locate their loved ones.

A family in Havana is still desperate over the disappearance of an elderly man who has not been found for 72 hours, which is why his daughter turned to social media for help.

"Please, let me know if you hear any news. I need to find my dad; it has already been 72 hours and we don't know anything," wrote Ivonne Vila Martínez on Facebook in her plea for help to find her father, who disappeared somewhere in the city and suffers from dementia.
