Damián Valdez was arrested in New York for the murder of El Taiger. Cameras captured his arrest by undercover police. He will be extradited to Miami and has a court date on November 12.

This Friday, details emerged regarding the arrest of Damián Valdez-Galloso, identified by the Miami Police as the person responsible for the murder of José Manuel Crabajal Zaldívar, El Taiger.

According to a report by Univisión, the arrest on October 29 took place in front of a business in Queens County, New York, by undercover police officers.

The security cameras at the location captured the moment when an officer pointed a gun at Damián on the sidewalk; he threw himself to the ground and was taken away by three officers.

"It was peaceful in essence because the police were very professional," said one of the workers from the business who witnessed the arrest to that television channel.

The video of the detention, which is now part of the evidence in the investigation of this case, has not been made public so far.

Damián Valdez-Galloso is scheduled for a hearing on November 12, which will take place in Queens, New York, where he was arrested.

According to the information provided by journalist Daniel Benítez, Damián will be extradited to Miami. This process can take anywhere from days to months, and while it is generally resolved within a period of 30 days, it may take longer.

This week, Teresa Padrón, former manager of El Taiger, revealed in an interview that it was Damián himself who called 911 after shooting the singer and leaving him in a car near Jackson Memorial Hospital on October 3.

The police also have in their possession a key video recorded by a security camera from a nearby house adjacent to the one rented by Valdez-Galloso, where the events took place.
