"There are no barriers for a sugar daddy": Cuban woman in the U.S. shares her fun experience at a bar

"We need to learn to speak English because if not, we will end up starving."

Cuban Marlan Vázquez has entertained TikTok with a humorous and lively anecdote. In her video titled "There Are No Barriers for a Sugar Daddy," she recounted how, while enjoying a glass of wine alone at the bar, a young foreigner approached her to engage in conversation, despite the language barrier posing a challenge.

Marlan, who described herself as "like a gringa," started by saying, "The last thing you’d think is that I'm Cuban." The conversation became more complicated when she had to admit, "No speak English, my English is ra ta ta ta," but that didn’t stop the gentleman, who pulled out a translator to keep the dialogue going. Marlan did the same, insisting that hers is "English without barriers."

Amid laughter, she acknowledged, “We have to learn to speak English because otherwise, we’re going to starve… although I never will, because I have my best translator.” However, she chose to end the conversation when the man started asking too many questions, saying, “I’m not here for that… I need a sugar daddy, but not just any—one who understands me, not one who doesn’t,” she shared with amusement.

The video by @marlan_estudio, which at the time of this note had accumulated over 2000 likes, generated dozens of comments. Many couldn't contain their laughter: “Inglish Ratatata lol, I died”; “Someone who understands says, friend, if you find one, share it”; and “Died when they said inglish ratatata.” Others encouraged her to keep practicing: “You need to learn English; the doors that will open for you will be many.”

Additionally, there were plenty of compliments on her style: "I love your style change, you can't be any more elegant," "So beautiful, God bless you," and "You are an excellent person, my dear."

With his phrase "there are no barriers for a sugar daddy" and his sense of humor, Marlan managed to connect with his audience, reminding us that even the simplest situations can turn into memorable stories when told with flair.
