The spectacle in the world of Cuban urban music intensified when Dayamí La Musa and Seidy La Niña faced off in an energetic live session on social media, featuring YouTubers Destino and Fernán. The performers exchanged strong words, making the rivalry between them clear.
Dayamí La Musa initiated the confrontation with strong statements directed at Seidy La Niña: “You’re not a professional. You have no place here, it’s pitiful. You’re short, how low can you go?” she expressed, sparking the first exchange of fire between the artists.
Seidy La Niña, known for her outspoken nature, responded with equal intensity. “Dayamí, tell me about your international successes apart from El Taxi. Share one of yours for me to sing; what are yours? I spoke with Osmani. Drink some water, you're sounding dry. Girl, change your flow to get back in the game; you haven't been relevant since the year 2000,” Seidy remarked, further escalating the tone of the discussion.
Among her statements, Seidy also set conditions for a musical collaboration: “I will record with her, but only if she pays me 5,000 dollars. We’ll record a song, but let Dayamí write it and see if she writes well. I can’t record with you because my numbers go down. It’s not for me, your time has passed.”
Destino, for its part, attempted to mediate and suggested that both artists make amends, emphasizing the importance of joining forces and resolving their differences. However, the heightened emotions left little room for reconciliation.
The video, which quickly went viral on social media, shows that the tensions between both figures of the Cuban urban genre are far from being resolved.
Meanwhile, fans of both artists have divided in support of their favorites, sparking intense debate on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
With this matchup, Dayamí La Musa and Seidy La Niña are back in the headlines, leaving open the possibility of a collaboration... or a more prolonged rivalry.
