He also reflected on the challenges the country is facing, mentioning the severe shortage of resources and the worrying rise in violence, and he wished health and blessings for everyone: “Let us hope it continues to evolve for the better,” he concluded with optimism and faith in the future of the youth.

Additionally, he provided details about the situation regarding his son, Lester, who has been facing a complex recovery process.

According to the message shared, the young man is currently at Julito Díaz Hospital in Havana, where he has been receiving medical care for the past three months.

Although he was discharged from the hospital five days ago, he remains in rehabilitation at the hospital due to logistical challenges, such as a lack of water and waiting for an ambulance to transfer him to his home province, Holguín.

In his message, Domínguez expressed his gratitude for Lester's improvement, highlighting the work of the doctors and the divine "miracle" that has allowed for his recovery.

Domínguez, who has been an example of a good father, has previously expressed his desire to take his son out of Cuba because the country lacks the necessary resources for his recovery.

The father has said that he fears the boy may not recover as fully as possible due to the crisis facing the Cuban healthcare system.

"Let’s hope it continues to improve so we can finally take him out, especially since it’s about Nicaragua, because we need to keep up with the rehabilitation, which has been going on for eight months now, and there are no resources in Cuba," he stated on his Facebook profile.
