The concerts of Oniel Bebeshito and L Kimii, both scheduled for the same date, December 28, continue to spark significant controversy on social media.

One of those who took a stand and sided with L Kimii was the Cuban composer Descemer Bueno, who not only expressed his support publicly in the comments of a Facebook post but also threw in a few jabs against the performer of "Marca Mandarina."

"L Kimii by far, I go for the best, not what's trendy," Descemer declared, leaving some clearly unfavorable words for Bebeshito.

In his comment, he explained the reasoning behind his decision: "She has one of the best voices in the genre and songs that transcend it, but above all, she is one of the best people in the industry. Trends come and go, but true talent remains; I've seen that millions of times."

Descemer's words sparked mixed reactions on the Billboard_cuban profile on Instagram: “His comment is not at all ethical or professional”; “I totally agree, we shouldn't underestimate anyone, but I'd rather go to a concert of L Kimii than Bebeshito's”; “Both are good, but numbers speak for themselves”; “Both are good. We just need to support them and let the audience go where they please, it's about unity”; “Well, if it's a trend, just look at who's number one right now, the one making everyone sing, the one whose releases always hit the top; it may be a trend, but he has done a lot and even better work than others”; “If you don't go to a concert because you don't like it, you shouldn't express yourself in such a way that belittles the work of others; everyone has their own style”; “I expected a different response. That comment from him was so unprofessional and unethical, especially since he is also a singer-songwriter.”

Those who are fans of both artists will have a tough time, as they will have to choose whom to see on December 28.
