The artistic career of Cuban singer Lenier Mesa continues to soar.

In addition to working on hits like "Te toqué sin querer" alongside Diana Fuentes and "Me quedaré contigo" featuring El Micha, the young artist has now gained the approval of one of the great figures in the music industry: none other than Emilio Estefan himself.

The famous Cuban producer has expressed a desire to meet Lenier in person, so he sent him an invitation. However, much to the young artist's surprise, during their meeting, the businessman confessed that Lenier is "one of his favorite artists."

This is how Lenier himself has expressed it in a post he made on his Instagram account, where he is seen alongside the husband of Cuban star Gloria Estefan.

"What a great blessing that Maestro Emilio Estefan invites me to meet him; I couldn't believe it when he told me that I am one of his favorite artists. Thank you, beautiful things are coming with God's blessing," Lenier wrote alongside the snapshot.

In the meantime, the marketing company MVM (Miami Vice), present at the meeting between Estefan and Lenier, has also captured the moment through another photograph and remarked that the producer himself confessed to the reggaeton artist that he reminded him of the early days of the famous American singer Marc Anthony

"Thanks to Emilio Estefan. A historic day for Lenier's career when the greatest in this business tells him that he has incredible magic and reminds him of Marc Anthony when he was starting out. He will support him, and the sky is the limit! Great things are on the way."

It seems that Emilio sees great potential in these genre representatives for the Latin market, as Lenier is not the first Cuban urban artist to gain Emilio Estefan's approval. Reggaeton artists El Micha and the group Yomil y El Dany have also captured the interest of the prominent music entrepreneur.
