Sandro Castro, one of Fidel Castro's grandchildren, has joined in the Halloween celebrations, which have been heavily criticized by the island's top leaders, and chose to dress up as one of the most popular American superheroes: Batman.

On his Instagram account, he posted a photo of himself enjoying time at the Efe bar in Havana, a place that is rumored to be his property, much like the Fantaxy bar in Miramar.

"Heating up the early morning at Efe Bar Cuba," Sandro wrote on the aforementioned social network.

Beneath the post, many have left comments criticizing Fidel Castro's grandson, labeling him a communist while wearing "Made in USA" suits.

In a previous post, the young Castro promoted on his Instagram that Efe bar would have an open bar for the three best costumes that came to celebrate Halloween, as well as free entry for the first 30 girls who attended the venue.

Halloween, a tradition celebrated every October 31st and very popular in the United States, was criticized a few months ago by Abel Prieto Jiménez, who published an article in the newspaper Granma expressing his concern about what he calls the resurgence in Cuba of the "identification between 'the American' and 'the modern'."

However, this is not the first time Sandro Castro has taken to social media to flaunt the good life he leads. Last September, he posted a photo with his car filled with fuel amid the energy crisis the country is experiencing.

"Thank you, God," he said while posting a photo on his Instagram stories.
