The renowned Dominican composer, producer, and artist Carlos Ariel Peralta Mendoza, known as Maffio, publicly expressed his support for La Diosa following the cancellation of her concert in Miami.
"Don't worry, the one up there never fails. Your talent is like the sea, and when have you ever seen the sea dry? Great things are coming," he wrote on the Cuban singer's Instagram account.
Maffio also dedicated some words to the Cuban-American host Enrique Santos after he canceled his participation in the event at the DAER Nightclub of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in solidarity with La Diosa, whose performance on the show was banned.
"Enrique Santos, you are a gentleman, and I am a witness to that. Since day one, the very same! Real!" he wrote.
Finally, the Dominican extended an invitation to the Cuban. "Goddess, let’s get to the studio and light it up!", he exclaimed.
This is not the first praise from the Dominican for the Cuban reggaeton artist. At the end of April, the renowned producer attended her concert at the Watsco Center in Miami, the first performance she gave after arriving in the United States.
"Goddess, you have an amazing show. Congratulations," said Maffio, who has worked with artists such as Gente de Zona, Nicky Jam, Farruko, Paulina Rubio, Olga Tañón, and Thalía.
On Tuesday, La Diosa tearfully informed her followers about the cancellation of another of her performances that was scheduled to take place in Miami, specifically at the Pool Party hosted by Enrique Santos at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
In a video shared on her social media, the singer revealed that the producers and promoters of Miami Vice who are organizing the event told the hotel that "La Diosa is not coming."
"The censorship of La Diosa is repeating itself in the United States. The censorship continues to follow my career. If you see me cry, it's because it's hard to live through what I experience, but no, it is what I have to endure, I have to hold on and keep going," she said, clearly affected.
The singer shared the kind gesture that Enrique Santos showed her.
"He canceled the whole party because he said that if they didn't want La Diosa, they didn't want him either. I feel sorry for Enrique because he's in a situation like this," she confessed.
A few hours after announcing the cancellation, with tempers having cooled, La Diosa returned to her social media to thank those who stand by her and do not celebrate the obstacles that come her way.
A few weeks ago, the singer had to cancel her concert in New Jersey scheduled for May 20, following a controversy with her makeup artist, who claimed that she was giving away tickets for her performances.
