Bad news strikes again for La Diosa: the Cuban singer tearfully announced to her followers on social media the cancellation of another performance scheduled in Miami.

Recently, it was announced that La Diosa would be appearing at the Pool Party hosted by Cuban-American entertainer Enrique Santos, which will take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in the United States.

According to the artist's statements, the producers and promoters of Miami Vice organizing this event told the hotel that "La Diosa no."

"The censorship of La Diosa is repeating in the United States," the singer stated, visibly upset by the news. "Censorship continues to follow my career. If you see me crying, it's because it's hard living through what I experience, but still, it’s what I have to endure and keep going."

The singer also revealed that Enrique Santos acted as a true friend: “He canceled the party, he canceled the entire event because he said that if they didn’t want La Diosa, then they didn’t want him either. I feel sorry for Enrique because he’s in a situation like this.”

"I have been trying lately to be better, even if some people don't see it. When I say 'be better,' I mean in the way people want, because I am a good person. If censorship is going to continue to pursue me, I have to move forward. I didn't yield to the dictatorship to be allowed to work, so I won't do it with Miami Vice here in the United States," declared the singer.

A few weeks ago, La Diosa was forced to cancel her concert in New Jersey, which was scheduled for May 20, following a public controversy with her makeup artist who claimed that she was giving away tickets to her concerts.

For seven years, La Diosa faced episodes of censorship in Cuba, and on more than one occasion, she was prevented from singing or had her concerts canceled on the island.
