Alongside Ronaldinho's team, wearing yellow and sporting the number 8 on his jersey, Lenier Mesa was one of the participants in 'the beautiful game' held this Friday at Exploria Stadium in Orlando.
Through videos shared in the stories on his account, we see the Cuban singer and songwriter sharing outfits with players and other guests at The Beautiful Game, warming up or posing for the official photos of the match, which was marred by rain that forced a suspension around the starting time, as well as a few intruders who jumped onto the field.
The friendly match pitted two teams led by the legends of Brazilian football, Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos, against each other.
The meeting also featured Ronaldo, Vini Jr, Rafa Márquez, Mascherano, Roberto, Dybala, Willian, Leandrinho Barbosa, Lucas Moura, Diego Ribas, Cafu, Rivaldo, Emerson, Aldair, Nani, Eder Militao, Veron, Valderrama, Higuita, Diego Lugano, and Dida.
The Puerto Rican singer Lunay and social media superstar Khaby Lame were also at the game, where Ronaldinho's team triumphed over Roberto Carlos's team with a score of 4-2.
Images shared on social media also show the Cuban composer on the playing field.
Rasiel Reyes from Vice Miami was also present at the event. "From Ciego de Ávila to the world, every day life gives me a new gift," he said on his Instagram account alongside a video of him interacting with other members of Ronaldinho's team.
One of the standout moments, already viral and widely discussed on social media, was Vinicius's stunning goal, who appeared in the game with a summer makeover.
"Let people know a little about what the beautiful game means, the history behind it all, and now Orlando is the chosen city for these phenomena to enjoy," Roberto Carlos said at a press conference held two days before the match.
The previous year, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, hosted the celebrity match that brought together current and former soccer stars, along with other personalities from entertainment, social media, and various areas of sports.
Lenier Mesa, for his part, couldn't be in a better phase of his life: the album Leyenda Viva by Tekashi, for which he is a songwriter and co-performer on several tracks, is a resounding success.
A few hours ago, the music video for "Dueño" featuring the controversial rapper was released, and it has already garnered nearly two million views on YouTube. Additionally, he is preparing a music video with Daddy Yankee and is nominated for the 2023 Premios Juventud.
Last April, Lenier Mesa shared a photo on his social media alongside "the football legend" Ronaldinho.
