The family of the young Cuban woman Karildi Marín, who went missing on the night of December 14, lament that more than three months have passed without any news about her whereabouts.
"It has been over three months, and still no news of my sister. This is a very sad and difficult situation for the entire family. We will not stop searching for you; we need to know what has happened to you, my sister. Your family loves you, and I long for your return. We love you infinitely," wrote Yoandri Marín, the girl's brother, on Facebook.
The young man reiterated the phone number 54291630 for anyone with information to get in touch.
Marín has systematically used social media to search for any information regarding the whereabouts of his sister.
On March 19, she wrote on Facebook: “We continue searching for you... your family doesn’t rest until we know about you... I ask for help from all the authorities in this country, how is it possible for a young girl to go missing and we are approaching 100 days without any news of her?”
Karildi Marín, 24 years old, disappeared on the night of December 14. That day, the young woman, who lived in Párraga in the municipality of Arroyo Naranjo, Havana, went to a party in Cerro, and her family never heard from her again.
Her family ruled out the possibility that the girl had left the country because they found her passport at home.
On several occasions, since the announcement of her disappearance, Yoandri Marín has reiterated that the family will not cease in their efforts to search for the young woman, who is the mother of a one-year-old girl.
