Alain Daniel confesses that being far from his parents is "the biggest price to pay for living in the United States."

"That is the biggest bill I have from living in the United States and the one that weighs on me the most," he confessed.

The Cuban singer Alain Daniel gave an interview to the YouTube program called Dímelo Charly in which he talked about various aspects of his personal life and career.

One of the topics that the artist, who has been living in the United States with his family for some years, tackled was how he copes with living far away from his parents, who are on the island.

Every day that I lose my mother, that's a debt I'll never be able to repay. Because even though I talk to her constantly, I have them on camera all the time, you can take a plane right now and be with your mother for as long as you want, yes, but that doesn't mean you live with your mother or coexist with her. Not being face to face, with that warmth, that's the biggest debt I have from living in the United States and the one that weighs the most on me," said Alain Daniel.

Despite the distance separating him from his parents, the salsa singer expressed during his conversation how grateful he feels for living in the United States and how happy he is that his daughters live in a land that offers them opportunities.

Likewise, Alain Daniel mentioned that his oldest daughter, who is 22 years old, has just bought her first car and was able to pay for it on her own without his financial assistance, a moment in her life that would never have been possible to experience in Cuba.
