Criticism of El Chacal for participating in Cuban Heritage Day at Marlins Park in Miami.

The Cuban social media community did not view the participation of the artists in this event favorably due to what happened last year at the stadium.

El Chacal was present this Saturday at the Miami Marlins stadium to participate in the celebration of Cuban Heritage Day. An event he attended with his family, where he played a significant role by making the first ball throw.

An event that has sparked controversy among the Cuban exile community, where several well-known figures from the island were present, such as Leoni Torres, Lenier Mesa, Aly Sánchez, and El Chacal, who made the first pitch with the legendary former Marlins pitcher, the Cuban Liván Hernández.

The Cuban reggaeton artist has wanted to involve us in this moment through his social media, where he has posted videos with Liván Hernández and throwing the ball. These images have sparked many criticisms among the Cuban community on Instagram.

"A dignified Cuban who respects himself and his homeland never sets foot again on Marlins' grounds", "The most talented in Cuba as a singer, and you getting involved in this mess is disappointing", "The empty stadium, they get what they deserve", "I respect and admire @leoni_torres a lot, but I don't think he should have attended this circus, let alone hiding his message under his suit", "One less person to attend a concert!! How bad is everyone’s memory" or "The Marlins owe a public apology to the Cuban exile", are some of the messages that can be read next to the Miami Marlins post featuring photos of El Chacal and Liván Hernández."

We remember that last year, during the game between Cuba and the United States in the World Classic, fans were prohibited from entering the stadium with pullovers and signs that read "Patria Vida." This is the reason why various artists, influencers, and athletes refused to attend the event this Saturday, May 18th.
