William Omar Landrón Rivera, better known as Don Omar, has announced that he has cancer. The Puerto Rican artist confirmed the sad news through a post on Instagram in which he uploaded an image of his wrist with the bracelet from Orlando Health in the United States.

Today yes, but tomorrow I will not have cancer. Good intentions are well received. See you soon. #fuckcancer," wrote the interpreter of "Ella y yo," without specifying the type of cancer he has.

In the face of the publication, colleagues, followers, and personalities from the entertainment world have sent their best wishes to the 46-year-old singer and have sent him strength in his battle against the illness.

"Stay strong, my little brother. Praying for you my brother. A big hug, William," commented the Cuban-American broadcaster Enrique Santos. To these messages of encouragement and strength, we also join from CiberCuba: Stay strong, Don Omar!
