Great news for Cuban music! Singer Wampi has become a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States. He shared this news on his social media channels, expressing his pride in being the first "repartero" to be accepted by the renowned institution.

Thank you very much to the GRAMMYS academy @recordingacademy for the invitation. It is a privilege to be a member of the American Grammys (with voting rights). Proud to be the first reggaeton artist to enter @recordingacademy and represent my neighborhood, my country, and my culture. Thanks to @cimafunk for the nomination and to the whole team for making it possible. Soon we will bring more Cuban music to the American GRAMMYS Awards," said the Cuban reggaeton artist.

This recognition marks a significant milestone in his career and in the history of Cuban music, as Wampi becomes the first raper to be accepted into the prestigious @recordingacademy. An achievement that signifies that the genre of rapping continues to grow and reach more corners of the world.

Congratulations!
