Elioveliz Pérez, the talented young man who has earned the nickname of the Cuban José José, has just announced his first tour in Mexico, whose residents have been surprised by the resemblance between his performances and those of the prince of romantic songs.
Through a special statement posted on Facebook, the 22-year-old Cuban said he is "excited to announce that very soon I will be embarking on a national tour in Mexico."
Likewise, he invited all interested entrepreneurs and event promoters to contact their exclusive representative within that country.
According to the information, the agency PLATINO TICKET MONTERREY will be in charge of scheduling all events, and is available at 81 1488 7119.
Elioveliz achieved success on social media by interpreting the hits of the late Mexican singer José José, such as "Preso", "Amor, Amor", "Desesperado", "Mi Vida", "Gavilán o Paloma", among other songs.
The similarity of his voice caught the attention of the audience on the island and in national and international media.
In May, the young man conquered the hearts of the jealous and experienced Mexican audience after his performances started to appear on the screens of the Mexico City metro buses.
For Mexicans, José José is more than an idol, and they did not hesitate to express their amazement and pride that the voice of "The Prince of Romantic Music" is being rescued by a Cuban.
José José's daughter, Sara Sosa, also expressed in a recent interview with Telemundo 51 her amazement and admiration for Elioveliz's ability to evoke her father's vocal essence.
"Wow. I have no words, really. My goodness. It takes me back to my childhood, seeing my dad in the studio," Sosa expressed.
Without a doubt, Mexico, a country proud of its music and its culture, will open its arms to the Cuban José José, who already has his own repertoire with songs by Lenier Mesa and Carlos Celles, who has composed for important musicians such as Chayanne, Luis Fonsi, among others.
