"I got tired of the hunger, the blackouts, and the lies": Young Cuban explains why he decided to emigrate

"I left because I want to give a decent life to my old lady," argued the young Cuban, as another reason to emigrate.

A young emigrant reflected on social media about the reasons that forced him to emigrate from Cuba, pointing out that in the Caribbean nation he and his family had no future: "I left because I want to give my old lady a decent life."

On TikTok, @soonivip said that Cuba hurts, referring to the economic crisis prevailing in the country and that offers very few opportunities for young people: "I felt that there I had no future."

"Even if I broke my back working, I couldn't even afford to buy a carton of eggs," said the Cuban, who warned about the soaring inflation that prevents people from accessing even the most basic foods.

"I got tired of the blackouts, the hunger, the lies, of seeing so many sad faces, and so much misery everywhere," the TikToker pointed out.

"And of course, I left because I don't want my children to grow up on an island that hurts," finally pointed out the young man, highlighting that the search for a better future for their children, impossible to achieve in Cuba, is a recurring reason among emigrants.

This young man, on social media, delves into the reasons why a person of his age decides to escape from the Cuban regime. However, they are the same reasons why someone of any age emigrates.

Recently, a Cuban arrived in the United States, a family reunion that was a cause for joy.

On TikTok, @yanelisblondin shared the emotional video of welcoming her mother. With the usual balloons in hand, she runs towards her mother who was being transported in a wheelchair towards her.

Also, the popular Cuban YouTuber Frank El Mákina shared a new video on TikTok showing how much he had purchased for 50 dollars in a shopping trip in Uruguay, suggesting that food is often a reason for emigrating.

The young man, who arrived in the South American country in December 2022 with his partner, also a YouTuber "Soy Klaudia", decided to make this video to clarify some doubts that arose after a previous post, where some followers questioned the actual $50 spending on their purchases.
