A user shared an image on social media showing the food received by a child at the pediatric hospital in Guantánamo, denouncing the deplorable nutrition provided to the patients at that healthcare facility.
The user @DiazVismar38292 shared a post on the social network X (formerly known as Twitter) featuring an image of a bowl with some white rice, peas, and five pieces of boiled banana: "Look at the food that the Cuban regime is providing to a child in the pediatric hospital of Guantánamo."
"You have to have a heart to see something like this; the Cuban communists are criminals," stated the user, who regularly highlights the abuses committed by the Cuban government against the civilian population.
The same profile also published a video denouncing the poor conditions of the bathrooms in the pediatric hospital of Guantánamo.
"These are their current conditions; I feel a great deal of embarrassment in showing you the images, but we must unmask the Cuban dictatorship," the user pointed out. "Communism is a deadly plague," he noted.
The brief clip showcases the deplorable conditions of the bathrooms in the healthcare facility, an alarming situation, especially for a pediatric hospital, as it jeopardizes the recovery of the patients.
The unsanitary conditions in Cuban hospitals are a recurring reality in various cities, highlighting the crisis of the regime and its inaction in addressing the main issues affecting the population.
Recently, it was reported on social media that the bad odor emanating from the restrooms at the Sur Children's Hospital in Santiago de Cuba was unbearable.
Several affected individuals sent independent journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada photos that showed the dreadful hygiene of the place, with toilets overflowing with urine and paper, and a bucket, supposedly meant for cleaning, filled with black water.
The communicator himself shared on Facebook a complaint stating that dogs and cats were walking through the halls of the hospital.
