The Cuban influencer known as "the Miami Twin," lost her mother in the tragic accident that occurred on Thursday in Camagüey.
Miguel David Estévez, protagonist of the comedy videos from the show "Las Locuras de Miguelín," confirmed the sad news on social media and expressed condolences to the relatives of the victims of the accident.
He mentioned that La Melliza de Miami, a YouTuber, digital creator, and collaborator on his show, had to travel to Cuba urgently to attend the funeral of her mother, Mrs. Milagros Hernández, one of the five people who died in the car accident.
The collision between two cars occurred near the "Los Olivos" bridge in El Carmen, at the exit of Santa Lucía beach, in an area known as "Las 80", in Camagüey.
A vehicle coming from the beach crashed into another one that was parked on the opposite lane. The car that was in motion immediately caught fire and the two women sitting in the back seats died in the flames. They were Milagros Hernández and her friend Yamila Marín.
Other people who died in this accident are Cliver Álvarez Tamayo (17 years old), Dailenis Silva (19), and the Facebook user Maykel Tope, although his real name, apparently, was Rafael Rodríguez.
The Miami influencer and her partner had been in Cuba at the end of May and beginning of June, where she was able to share vacation days with her family, leaving unforgettable memories that show the close relationship she had with her mother.
