The Cuban influencer known as "the Miami Twin" lost her mother in the tragic accident that occurred on Thursday in Camagüey.
Miguel David Estévez, the star of the comedy videos from the show "Las Locuras de Miguelín," confirmed the sad news on social media and expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of the tragedy.
She commented that La Melliza de Miami, a YouTuber, digital creator, and collaborator on her show, had to travel to Cuba urgently to attend the funeral of her mother, Mrs. Milagros Hernández, one of the five victims of the car accident.
The collision between two cars occurred near the "Los Olivos" bridge in El Carmen, at the exit of Santa Lucía beach, in an area known as "Las 80" in Camagüey.
A vehicle coming from the beach crashed into another one that was parked in the opposite lane. The moving car caught fire immediately, and the two women who were sitting in the back seats died in the blaze. They were Milagros Hernández and her friend Yamila Marín.
Other deceased individuals in this accident include Cliver Álvarez Tamayo (17 years old), Dailenis Silva (19), and Facebook user Maykel Tope, although his real name was apparently Rafael Rodríguez.
The Miami twin and her partner had spent the end of May and the beginning of June in Cuba, where the influencer was able to share vacation days with her family, creating unforgettable memories that highlight the close relationship she had with her mother.
