Cuban doctor seeks job opportunity in the healthcare field in the U.S.: "I am willing to do whatever it takes."

The young Cuban doctor has over seven years of experience and obtained his license as a "Medical Assistant" after making several sacrifices.

The TikToker Dairon Cano recently requested help for a Cuban doctor residing in the United States, who, despite having his license as a medical assistant and over seven years of experience, has not been able to find employment in the healthcare sector.

"I want to work in a clinic, in a hospital, in the health field, in whatever it may be," stated the young doctor in a video posted by the influencer @dairon_cano_champions on TikTok.

"I am open to learning whatever needs to be learned and continue improving," noted the doctor, who recounted that he managed to obtain his license as a "Medical Assistant."

The TikToker indicated that anyone who can help the young doctor should contact him privately.

He insisted to his followers on the need to support the Cuban professional, who, after doing all kinds of jobs, managed to overcome numerous difficulties to achieve his dream of working as a doctor in the United States.

"He wrote to me on social media telling me that he was going through a very sad situation, and he feels a little down," emphasized the Cuban influencer.

Last March, the organizations Solidaridad Sin Fronteras and La Cruz Verde presented in Miami an international medical aid program for doctors aimed at replacing the forced labor of Cuban physicians working abroad.

Cuban medical professionals, whether they have deserted from medical missions or not, will be able to offer their services and knowledge in Latin American countries, as revealed by local news portals citing a press conference as the source.

It is estimated that the program could benefit in the long term thousands of Cuban doctors and doctors from other countries who are residents in the United States but have not been able to validate their degrees in that country and want to practice.

In addition, last May, the enactment of law SB7016 by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis opened up new opportunities for Cuban doctors and other healthcare professionals trained abroad, allowing them to practice in the United States without having to complete a residency period.

The legislation, which implies a radical change in the revalidation exam policies, is aimed at addressing the growing shortage of doctors and nurses in Florida.
