On June 28th, El Chacal was forced to leave the stage during a performance in Barcelona. Despite receiving a lot of criticism, especially from the audience who attended the show live, the truth is that the artist was between life and death.
During an interview with "Destino Tolk," the reggaeton artist recounted in detail what happened that day and explained that he had to withdraw from the performance due to severe osteochondritis (costochondritis) in his chest.
According to the singer, his chest was all swollen, that whole area started to tighten, and he began to have difficulty breathing.
There was a moment on stage while standing in front of the DJ where everything started to look very blurry and feeling dizzy: "I said, I'm going to die here because I couldn't breathe and I felt very ill."
Almost unable to speak, she said to her team, "Call the rescue, I'm leaving and all that came to mind were my children."
None of this is going to justify what happened because in the end everyone can say what they want with their reasons. I really went there to work, I shouldn't have gotten off, but I couldn't take it anymore," El Chacal stated.
The reggaeton singer clarified that it was not solely his concert, as it was a festival where he was scheduled to sing for a specific time and there were other artists performing. When he stepped off the stage, he had 20 minutes left in his performance.
"I feel super embarrassed," acknowledged the artist and said that he even wants to do a free concert to settle that debt with the audience from Barcelona who came to see him.
