On June 28, El Chacal was forced to leave the stage during a performance in Barcelona. Although he faced a lot of criticism, especially from the audience that came to see him live, the truth is that the artist was between life and death.
During an interview with "Destino Tolk," the reggaeton artist detailed what happened that day and explained that he had to leave the performance due to severe osteochondritis (costochondritis) in his chest.
According to the singer, his entire chest was inflamed, he felt tightness in that area, and he began to have difficulty breathing.
There was a moment on stage while I was standing in front of the DJ when everything started to blur, and I felt lightheaded: "I thought to myself, I'm going to die here because I couldn't breathe and I felt really awful."
Barely able to speak, I told my team, "Call for rescue because I'm leaving, and the only thing that came to my mind were my children."
"None of this is going to justify what happened because in the end, everyone can say what they want and have their reasons. I really went there to work; I shouldn't have gotten off, but I couldn't help it," El Chacal stated.
The reggaeton artist clarified that it wasn't entirely his concert, as it was a festival where he was scheduled to perform for a specific amount of time, alongside other artists. When he finished his set, he had 20 minutes left in his appearance.
"I feel really embarrassed," the artist admitted, adding that he even wants to hold a free concert to make up for the debt to the audience in Barcelona who came to see him.
