The activist Ander Wanton Roca, leader of the project Compartiendo Corazones, requested the help of doctors, nurses, and other health personnel to conduct a survey of people suffering from chronic diseases in various rural areas of the province of Santiago de Cuba.
Wanton reported on Facebook that they intend to conduct this diagnostic census specifically in the rural communities of Tártaro and La Nita, both belonging to the municipality of Songo-La Maya.
The activist pointed out that he needs people willing to accompany him to the mountains to carry out the census when they are notified. He added that the idea is to "start addressing these diseases" after completing the diagnosis.
Wanton took the opportunity to thank those who sent money, enabling the purchase of diapers, and to all those who support the missions he carries out in the highlands of Santiago de Cuba, where many problems are ignored by the regime.
In recent days, this very activist brought some first aid and medical kits to remote areas of the province.
In addition, Wanton and the project he leads, along with the Aliento de Vida initiative, distributed clothing and other resources among people living in extreme poverty in the rural areas of Santiago de Cuba.
Yankiel Fernández, coordinator of the Humanitarian Project Aliento de Vida, showed on Facebook the moment when people living in the villages of the Sierra Maestra and other remote areas of the province of Santiago de Cuba benefit from the donations.
