"Two years, three months, and six days without embracing them": Cuban mother surprises her children on the island.

"Thank you God for making all this possible."

A Cuban mother (@pao8103) has touched hearts on TikTok by sharing an emotional video where she revealed her surprise visit to the island to reunite with her children after more than two years of separation.

In the video, she is seen, visibly excited, using a fan to cover her face while waiting for the door to open in a street in Cuba.

In her post, the mother expressed: "The heart beats strongly, in a different way, you’re on the plane and barely looking down and the first little piece of your land begins...something indescribable is felt..thank you God for making all this possible."

About the video, he wrote another message that reflects the longing for the reunion: "Surprise to my children, 2 years 3 months and 6 days without hugging them."

The emotional reunion has resonated with many users, who have expressed being moved by the story of this mother and her long-awaited family reunion: "Oh how beautiful"; "Well my girl, what can I say, but the day has finally come to embrace your pieces of heart, happy for you"; "I'm so glad you could go. I'm really happy"; "It feels so good to see family after so much time, especially the kids"; "Only those who go through it know what it feels like, I was there for a year and a half and it felt eternal"; "I'm really happy for you and your family"; "Awesome, how lovely"; "You made me cry but I'm happy for you and your family"; "Wow what a blessing my dear, now enjoy that joy"; "How we suffer as families from Cuba"; "I cried"; "What emotion... I've cried with you. I hope you enjoy your kids," many celebrated.

After this first post, and in response to a user who had reproached her by saying that he could not stand "those dramas" nor understood how a mother could be so separated from her children, she dedicated a measured but forceful response.

"Behind every mother, there is a story; behind every family, there is a story; and behind every Cuban, there is a story. And sometimes you have to give up certain things for a while to achieve great things. So if you don’t know, don’t give your opinion," he told her.
