Charly & Johayron have decided to put an end to their career as a duo due to disagreements with their record label Planet Record Cuba / Miami, after a year in which they had managed to reach the top of popularity among fans of the urban genre in Cuba.
The news of their separation was announced by Johayron on his Instagram profile with a text explaining the reasons for his decision to pursue a different path.
"It's time to say goodbye, but goodbyes are sad and I prefer to say hello. Hello to a new adventure. Today, July 23, I want to let you know that after this tour and our last two releases that will be on August 2, I will hang up my gloves. I hope you support me in this new stage of my life," wrote the singer.
“I'll tell you a bit. For some time now, every time Charly & Johayron are about to have a release, the record label gets in the way with excuses like that the video can't be made, this song isn't the right one, or the producer didn't deliver the master on time, in short, everything to prevent us from releasing that product. After so much disagreement in trying to come out with a song, I reached the point of not being comfortable and even not trusting what I do,” Johayron clarified.
The artist assured that the only thing that has kept them together until now is the support of the public: "If it weren't for you showing us your support at every premiere and making it special, this day would have come a long time ago. I love you all very much, thank you always for the unconditional support you have given me."
According to Johayron's words, everything seems to indicate that the separation is due to his decision to follow a different path, but in the comments on the post, a message from El Charly shows all his support.
"Wherever you go, turn around because you'll see me walking behind. Too much talent and the desire to conquer the world in two kids aged 23 and 24. Let's go for it, let it be what God wants. Our fans will always be there, I know," wrote El Charly, implying that there are no conflicts between the two artists.
