The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) revealed the 911 call made by the daughter of Cuban-American businessman Sergio Pino when a group of hitmen attempted to murder her mother last June.

That day, the group of hitmen entered the home of Tatiana Pino, who was in the middle of a contentious divorce with Sergio Pino, and where one of the hitmen attempted to shoot her unsuccessfully.

Upon exiting the house, one of the hired thugs pointed a gun at the couple's adult daughter, Alessandra, outside the house, although the attacker decided not to shoot since his main target was Tatiana.

The young woman called 911 after this incident in desperation, according to the recording revealed this Thursday and cited by Telemundo 51.

Alessandra: "There is a weapon, there is a weapon."

911 Agent: "Does that mean there's a man with a gun?"

Alessandra: "Yes, he just pulled out a weapon and they're still here. Please come here," she says desperately.

She then states that outside the house are only her and her dog, but she believed that the target of the attack was her mom, who had arrived from church and was inside the house.

Recently, the FBI and the Florida Attorney General's office revealed the details of the chilling plot by the businessman to allegedly murder his wife, amidst a turbulent divorce process that she had requested since April 2022.

Federal Prosecutor Markenzy Lapointe revealed the details of the investigation, which culminated in the suicide of Sergio Pino earlier this month in his beachfront mansion in Coral Gables, when the FBI was trying to conduct a search of the property and present him with a court order related to the accusations of attempted murder against his wife.

Pino had devised a first plan to eliminate his wife before the divorce became final, in order to retain his entire fortune.

According to Lapointe, Pino hired two different teams to carry out the assassination of his wife.

A total of nine people have been arrested in connection with the case, and four of them have already been formally charged.

In the second group, to which money had been transferred for their work, is Fausto Villar, a convicted criminal who worked as a roofer for Pino and who has already been accused.

Another implicated person is Bayron Bennent, an assistant on a yacht owned by Pino, who is pointed out as the alleged responsible for obtaining fentanyl that Pino is said to have used to try to poison his wife.

Reports indicate that one of the teams was instructed to carry out the assassination before the next divorce hearing, with the promise of a $150,000 bonus if they managed to prevent the crime from being linked to the real estate businessman.

The various failed methods employed by the conspirators included an attempt to poison with fentanyl, various forms of harassment, and a failed attempt to run over with a rented van.

According to the investigations, the climax came in June of this year when a group of hitmen followed Tatiana Pino to her home, where one of them attempted to shoot her. It was in this case that Alessandra's call was recorded.

The authorities stated that they continue to investigate the case to clarify all the details and bring those responsible to justice.
