Yotuel sends a message to María Corina Machado: "You are that ray of light we needed."

"Your victory is also my victory, because I know that when Venezuela is free, Cuba will be free."

The Cuban singer Yotuel Romero sent a message to María Corina Machado, the main figure of the Venezuelan opposition, who could not stand in the elections in her country because the Chavista regime disqualified her for 15 years.

In a video on his Facebook wall, the rapper expresses his faith in her and in what she is going to achieve this Sunday.

"You are that ray of light we needed in the midst of the darkness, you are that new dawn that is blossoming, you are that rain that frees the fields bringing life," they said.

"God bless you, God bless Venezuela, because your victory is also my victory, because I know that with Venezuela being free, Cuba will be free. Thank you, María Corina, from the bottom of my heart, for me and for my people," he added.

Like Yotuel, Los Pichy Boys also shared a message encouraging the Venezuelan people to go to the polls on a "historic" day when "freedom is close."

"We want you to know that all Cubans who love freedom are with you! This weekend will be historic, freedom is near, fight until the end. We are so proud of you! We hope you serve as an example for my people and that we all rise together against the tyrants," they expressed.

On Saturday, María Corina Machado expressed in a video her confidence in victory over chavismo in this Sunday's elections and her faith in an upcoming transition to democracy in Cuba.

"Very soon I know that Cuba will be like us, on the eve of Freedom. Lots of strength!" he said on his social media.
