The Goddess shared a touching video on Instagram a few hours ago of her mother - who passed away in 2021 - responding to a "Cuban-ness test" conducted by her son-in-law, Rey El Mago.
In the sweet video, you can hear the dialogue between Rey and La Diosa's mother, who responds with remarkable accuracy to a series of questions that only someone born in Cuba with a deep connection to the island could answer.
The dialogue begins with Rey saying: "Cuban citizenship test to see if you're Cuban, huh," to which La Diosa's mother replies: "Let's see if I'm Cuban, 100% Cuban." Then a list of traditional questions follows: "What time did they kill Lola?"; "Whose plantain field is it?", among others, which the lady answers correctly.
The sweet moment concludes with an enthusiastic celebration of La Diosa, for managing to get all of them right.
"I remember you as intelligent, cheerful, positive, confident. I love you, my mother, beautiful," the artist wrote when sharing the post, which has sparked the most affectionate and emotional messages from their followers, including references to the lady's charisma and the striking similarity of the voice with the singer's.

Last January, the singer remembered her mother's birthday with an emotional post: "On a day like today, you were born my mother, and I know you are happy watching my achievements and my growth. I know you and my father are together looking after us, and everything beautiful I experience has also come from you both, all my joys, because everything I wanted, you knew. Thank you, Mom. Your daughter loves you. Congratulations. You continue to live in me," she said on that occasion while showing the 3D photo of her parents that she has in her home.
In April 2023, when she held her first concert in Miami, the singer brought her mother's ashes to the dressing room and lit two candles in her honor.
The mother of La Diosa, whose real name is Dianelys Alfonso Cartaya, passed away in August 2021 due to the coronavirus.
