Oniel Bebeshito had a concert scheduled for August 24th at La Tropical and reported the cancellation of it through his social media.

The Cuban reggaeton artist explained that he was censored for a month and that afterward he has not been allowed to perform in venues with a large audience capacity.

"A decision was made regarding me that I believe was a poorly made decision. I was silenced for a month, unable to sing from July 15 to August 15. I had to lose and I accepted my censorship; I completed my month without singing. After I fulfilled my month, I could only sing in small venues because they said that I named too many people," the singer detailed in a post on Instagram that he later deleted.

"After a month and a week, I was given the opportunity to sing at La Tropical, a place for the people, for all those who cannot go to a bar, with money from La Tropical that we were going to donate to children with syndromes, and three days before the concert, I was informed that the concert was canceled just like that without any explanation, leaving me to be the one who has to face it again," Bebeshito added, undoubtedly upset by this situation.

In his text, the singer took the opportunity to apologize to the public: “I want to offer my most sincere apologies to all my people who were waiting for that concert, but those things get out of my hands because I believe that for many, my happiness is bothersome. Now we have to wait and see when they will allow me to give a concert for the people.”

Although Bebeshito did not clarify why he was censored, last July, shortly before the date indicated by the artist, there was a controversial incident at one of his concerts in Camagüey during which a fan of the singer was forcibly removed from the stage.
