Cubans give away cakes in the middle of a street in Hialeah.

Accompanied by other people, they temporarily halted traffic to distribute the sweets.

Yandry Roque Pando, the young owner of the pastry shop Ena’s Secret Bake, handed out cakes, along with other Cubans, on a street in Hialeah.

"My people, we are going to stop traffic here to give away cake," said Yandry in a video shared on his Facebook profile to the rhythm of "Añoranza por la Conga."

Accompanied by other people, they temporarily stopped traffic to distribute the candies.

Although the reason for the initiative was not explained, they were very happy during the presentation, as were those who received their cake.

"What beauty, what a kind gesture," "You are the champion!," "That's how we Cubans are, we give things with our hearts," were some of the comments that accompanied the post.

Yandry, along with his two grandparents, has managed to run a bakery in Hialeah, but little by little they have expanded to other cities. Their most popular product is the traditional birthday box.

Last June, he set up a van in a parking lot in Homestead where dessert fans came to buy cake, marquesitas, and meringue, among other sweets.
