Cuban returns to the island 24 years later and stars in an emotional reunion with his grandmother and aunts.

"Grandma could come here, but she doesn't want to get on a plane anymore, it's our turn to go back," remarked in the comments the partner of the protagonist of the touching moment, who traveled with him to the island.

A video recently shared on TikTok has deeply moved thousands of people, showing the return of a Cuban who lives in the United States to the island after 24 years and the emotional reunion with his grandmother and aunts.

In the comments of the video, the protagonist's partner, @Cindyforte, explained why she hadn't visited the island in a long time and noted that during those years she had seen her grandmother: "I couldn't go before in my life, the grandmother could come here because she had the visa, but she hasn't come in a few years," she said. "Thank God, Grandma could come here, but now she doesn't want to get on a plane anymore, so we have to go back," she replied to another comment.

The video has generated an avalanche of reactions and comments filled with empathy and blessings. "Grandparents who raise their grandchildren leave marks on their souls forever; they should be eternal"; "My grandmother passed away while I was outside of Cuba, you don't know how many times I watched the video," some said.

The experience of being away from family and the sacrifice that distance implies for so many years has resonated with the audience, many of whom shared their own wishes to reunite with their loved ones: "How long, how difficult, but at the same time comforting is the reunion, congratulations"; "I have cried like a child, may God bless that beautiful grandmother."

"After 24 long years, I was finally able to take you to the land that saw you born, my love," Cindy had said earlier alongside another video of her stay on the island.
