A pair of manatees captivates Miami.

The pair of manatees swam along the shores of Miami, charming everyone who saw them. They also captivated social media.


A touching scene was recently captured in Miami as a pair of manatees were seen strolling along the city's shores.

The event was shared by the Only in Dade account on Instagram, earning the admiration of marine life defenders and lovers.

"A love story in Miami," pointed out Only in Dade.

In just two days, the post has received more than 12,000 reactions, and most of the comments agree that it is a couple of in-love manatees.

Sightings of manatees are always well received by people, as they are animals that, due to their body and swimming style, convey tenderness and tranquility.

In last August, Cuban children spotted a manatee swimming in the Almendares River, beneath the iron bridge of Havana, and captured beautiful images of the animal.

However, amid the food crisis on the island, several people have expressed concern for the fate of the peaceful visitor and asked the residents in the area "not to eat it."

In 2023, a pair of manatees surprised Cubans passing by the vicinity of the Matanzas viaduct.

The impressive marine mammals swam a short distance from the shore for several hours.

That same year, a huge manatee surprised the bathers who were enjoying and refreshing themselves from the heat at a beach in Miami.

The curious incident occurred in the area of Haulover Intel Beach Park, in Miami Beach.
