Aly Sánchez celebrates her daughter Sophia's new achievement: "First place in Florida Future Chef 2024!"

"Seeing you achieve your goals fills us with pride and love, and even though sometimes I wish I could protect you from everything, I know that every step you take brings you closer to becoming the great person you are."

The Cuban actress and influencer Aly Sánchez proudly celebrated an exciting achievement of her eldest daughter, Sophia Balmaseda, who, at the age of 12, won first place in the Florida Future Chef 2024 competition. In a post full of emotion, the actress overflowed with happiness for her daughter's accomplishment and highlighted the effort and perseverance that led her to this victory.

"First place in Florida Future Chef 2024! She achieved it and believed in herself more than we did. Keep dreaming and fight for those dreams with all your might, my little big girl," wrote Aly, excited to see her daughter achieve her goals. The post was accompanied by several photos of Sophia during the competition, focused on preparing her winning dish.

In her Instagram stories, Aly shared a video showing her reaction upon learning of her daughter's victory. "I still can't believe it... she does, she always believed she would," she wrote alongside a video where she is seen screaming with excitement, celebrating the achievement with family, along with her husband Roberto Balmaseda, and their youngest daughter, Sarah.

Social media quickly filled with messages of congratulations and joy for Sophi's victory: “I think we are all very proud of her, we have seen her grow by your side”; “OMG the last video, I got emotional as if I had been there with you”; and “Banao's granddaughter for the world.”

Heydy González, also an actress and great friend of Aly, didn't want to miss the special moment for her goddaughter and attended the event alongside her partner Eddy Borges, who supported the young chef during the competition.

The Florida Future Chef 2024 competition, which aims to highlight youthful talent in the kitchen, awarded Sophia a prize of $5,000. In the images shared by Aly, the girl can be seen posing with her prize alongside her family and other loved ones who celebrated with her.

This emotional achievement represents a new source of pride for the entire family, who have been a fundamental pillar in Sophia's success. "We love you and will always be here for you," concluded Aly in her post, demonstrating the immense family support behind every step her daughter takes.

From our editorial team, we join in the congratulations for the girl.
