El Taiger says that Tekashi "is a criminal, but he has good feelings."

The Cuban reggaeton artist confessed that he likes the duo of the Cuban rapper and composer Lenier Mesa, and took the opportunity to share his opinions regarding Tekashi and Boris Arencibia.

El Taiger is one of many who has reacted to the new musical collaboration between Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lenier Mesa, "El Preso," which they dedicated to the Cuban producer Boris Arencibia, who has been under arrest since the beginning of the year.

The Cuban reggaeton artist confessed in a live stream, which was shared by Un Martí To Durako, that he likes the duo of the Cuban rapper and composer, and took the opportunity to share his opinions regarding Tekashi and Boris.

"I really love that duo. I like Tekashi a lot when he sings in Spanish because Daniel is a kid who has some deep feelings, it fits me, I relate to it; when Daniel sings in Spanish, you can see better what kind of person he is. Daniel is a criminal, but he has good feelings," El Taiger said very confidently.

The singer also defended Boris: “He behaved like a good guajiro with me. Every time I see them start to talk about him like that, I’m one of those who jumps in because I always saw that man give; I never saw him receive anything (…) The times I saw him, I saw a gentleman who always had a lot to give. I didn't care how he did it or where he got it from; that is worthy of admiration.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine and Lenier Mesa released "El Preso" a few days after images emerged showing the infidelity of Boris Arencibia's wife with the Cuban baseball player Vladimir Gutiérrez.
