Cuban arrives unexpectedly on the island and ends up in the hospital with her mother: "I do not recommend doing this"

Cuban does not recommend surprising family with unexpected arrivals after the scare with her mother.

Like hundreds of Cubans returning to their homes on the island, a Cuban from the U.S. wanted to surprise her mother and not let her know about her return after a long time without seeing her. It’s something she does not recommend after what happened during their reunion.

Through her TikTok account, where this Cuban identifies as @nails_by_mayi, she shared the reunion. An emotional surprise that ended with a visit to the hospital because her mother had high blood pressure.

"I do not recommend doing this, I was with mom until 3 a.m. at the clinic with high blood pressure, but thank God she is fine and enjoyed her grandson for the 10 days I was there," he wrote while sharing the video, in which he appears arriving home with his son to his mother's house. According to his account, the excitement of seeing her daughter and grandson after so long triggered a hypertension crisis in his mother.

Fortunately, the situation did not escalate, and her mother was able to recover to enjoy time with her daughter and her grandson.

"I have honestly seen people about to give them something, yet they still do it. God willing, nothing happens to any family member, blessings to you and your family," "It's nice, but older people need to be protected from those scares. I couldn't surprise mine or my grandmothers, it didn't scare me either," "It's an exciting moment, but complicated. The same thing happened with my mom, I will never do it again," or "It's very intense. I did the same to mine and she almost had something happen to her. She had some tremors and couldn't move. Poor thing. But this is what we all long for when we leave our parents behind," are some of the comments seen alongside this reunion.
