A Cuban resident in the United States is offering a reward of 1.5 million Cuban pesos (1,500,000 CUP) for any information leading to those responsible for a robbery that occurred on October 2 at his home in Santa Clara, where the thieves took a chain and other valuables.

According to the complainant, around 1:00 a.m. that day, the criminals entered his house on Martí Street, using a tool to force a window.

The owner of the residence indicates that, according to the video footage captured, there are at least three people involved: two of them entered the house, while the third was watching outside.

In the security footage, one of the suspects is seen wearing black clothing, while the other is wearing jeans and green gloves. They were all hooded and walked nervously in front of the house.

The affected party provided the contact numbers 55995161 and 54163142 for anyone who has useful information that could help identify the thieves and recover the stolen items.

Amid the rising violence in Cuba, emigrants are frequent targets of theft in Cuba.

A few months ago, the case of one of them emerged who clung to the windshield of his car to prevent it from being stolen.

The murder of the young man residing in the United States, Yorjelguis Bolaños Fernández, in Mayabeque, also shocked in January, as it was committed for robbery.
