Díaz-Canel calls to "consolidate the discreet results that are already being achieved in the macroeconomic order."

"This has been possible due to the confrontation of a group of distortions, which will allow us to continue advancing and, with that, enhance the concept that the moment is difficult, but not insurmountable," he assured.

In the midst of the acute crisis the country is going through, the Cuban regime is focused on conveying to the population the idea that "progress" is being made and that the "government's projections to correct distortions and revive the economy" are yielding results.

This was affirmed this Thursday by the Cuban leader Miguel Díaz-Canel before the attendees at the extraordinary plenary sessions of the provincial committees of the Communist Party of Las Tunas and Holguín. "Subtle results are already being perceived, but we still have a lot to do in each municipality of Cuba," he stated on his social media.

According to the official press, the ruler conveyed to those gathered his perception that Cuban society has a "will for transformation, to expand results, and to consolidate the modest results that are already being achieved in the macroeconomic order."

"This has been possible due to the confrontation with a group of distortions, which will allow us to continue moving forward and, with that, enhance a concept that we expressed at the closing of the National Assembly of the People's Power, related to the fact that the moment is difficult, but not insurmountable," said the PCC secretary.

Furthermore, the leader of the so-called "continuity" rallied his supporters, repeating the slogan: "we can overcome this moment, and we can do it if we work, if we create wealth to distribute with social justice, if we do it with our intelligence."

"We know that the blockade will continue to intensify, that we will lack fuel, that we will lack a number of things; but in the visits to the territories that we have made, it is always evident that, amidst those circumstances, there are groups that are capable of working well," added the leader designated by Raúl Castro.

At the beginning of September, Díaz-Canel reiterated for the umpteenth time his promise that his government would pull the country out of the prolonged economic crisis affecting the island.

During an intervention at the extraordinary plenary session of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Pinar del Río, the leader assured that they are implementing strategies to improve the situation and promised that, despite the challenges, "we will get out" of this complex stage.

A Facebook post from the newspaper Guerrillero indicated that the president described the current situation as a "difficult moment for everyone, but that doesn't mean it is insurmountable."

From Mexico, the leader closed September with more promises of this kind. Invited to the inauguration of the elected president Claudia Sheinbaum, he said he is "convinced that we will move forward," referring to the critical situation faced by the Caribbean nation.

No one from the common people sees the results, but Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz does.

In his recent intervention during the September meeting of the Council of Ministers, the leader emphasized the "responsibility" of officials and local leaders in the process and the results that the central government expects to achieve from its strategies and "projections."

According to Marrero Cruz, the macroeconomic indicators show "slight advances," but in his speech, he reproached local leaders that these supposed advances "still do not reach the family economy."
