El Taiger remains hospitalized at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami after being shot in the head on Thursday during a shooting in Allapattah.
The influencer Un Martí To Durako had access to information about the reggaeton artist's health and shared details in a livestream.
"The latest news I have for now is that El Taiger is out of trouble, they moved him to another room, it seems he is under control, he is still serious but it appears that everything is under control. I believe he came out well from the surgery he was having, it is not known if he may have remaining effects. He is still serious but supposedly he came out well from the surgery," he said in the livestream.
A Martí added that many news stories have circulated on social media, some of them false, including the ones that reported El Taiger as deceased.
"He's not out of danger, but we can only wait. El Taiger has not passed away, El Taiger is in serious condition, that is something that will not be hidden, he's serious but came out of the surgery well," added the influencer.
As of the time of writing this note, the details surrounding the incident in which the Cuban reggaeton artist was injured are unknown.
Through social media, many artists have sent messages of support and a speedy recovery for El Taiger.
