Jorge Junior explained this Tuesday that he has not been able to travel to the United States to see his cousin, El Taiger, because he is waiting for a humanitarian visa that neither he nor his mother have received yet.
"I apologize to all of you today for not stopping by, for not showing up. I haven't had the best day regarding my health. I've had my blood pressure at 200 and my head felt like it was going to explode. I'm still like this, but a bit better now. Thank you very much for your messages and your care. I love you with all my life," he wrote in his Instagram stories.
"From this side, since moment 0 I have moved heaven and earth to be by my cousin's side. I canceled everything and did all the necessary paperwork. Until tonight, neither my mother nor I have any response at all. It's the first time in history that a humanitarian visa is processed directly from here, according to what they tell me, and it doesn't depend on this side," he added.
In a subsequent live broadcast on the mentioned social network, the singer reiterated that he is not in good health but took the opportunity to clarify some points, including the management of the humanitarian visa for the reggaeton artist's eldest daughter, which was reported this weekend by Telemundo 51.
Jorge Junior accused the mother of the minor -who already resides in the U.S.- of taking advantage of the situation for her own benefit, and claimed that she has now found the perfect opportunity for the girl to "jump" to the other side, but in reality, she is not that interested in having her with her father.
The musician publicly aired other sensitive family issues related to the possible "authorization" that would be mandatory to handle legal matters at this time. He particularly questioned whether a cousin who cares for El Taiger's grandmother - who has Alzheimer’s - is a relevant choice.
Jorge Junior claimed his role in the training and music career of El Taiger, despite the differences they had at times, but he pointed out that he wants nothing.
"This person here is one of those who doesn't want anything. I'm going to be there 'just hanging out,'" she said about her anticipated visit to her cousin.
In the live broadcast, he was questioned about the fundraising campaign to address the lack of health insurance that could hinder the singer's possible recovery.
Jorge Junior said that they talked to him about it and that he will donate if necessary, but he does not want to be aware of the financial details.
"I don't want to know how much there is or how much there isn't because I don't want another problem. My mind is focused on the recovery of my cousin," he concluded.
This weekend, Jorge Junior had already shared another message in a live stream where he also appeared with a mask and was visibly affected by the critical health situation of his family member.
In that case, throughout the message, the singer appeared deeply affected, unable to hold back tears.
"I hope to be with you all soon, I don't have time to think about who did it. Now the only thing I want is for God to return my cousin to me, even if it's just to say goodbye to him," he said on that occasion.
Previously, in another post on his Instagram stories, Jorge Junior claimed that he would not be able to "put an end" to El Taiger's process.
"I wouldn't have the heart to do it, you will open your eyes and I will be holding your hand, I promise you," he wrote.
