Cuban in the United States shares how he was able to buy his first house.

This young Cuban-American realtor claims that he can help other immigrants achieve the American dream.

Cuban Darién Hernández, a businessman and realtor in Kentucky, with over 43,000 followers on TikTok under the profile @darybusiness, shared with his fans the story of how he managed to buy his first house in the United States.

Hernández is the CEO of the company DHM TAXES & MORE. In response to one of his followers, he explained that the purchase of his first home was an unexpected buying process, but full of lessons, where he was able to take advantage of the benefits of the "American Dream" program.

"My first house, I have always told everyone that it was a stroke of luck," Hernández commented. In his first two years in the United States, like many immigrants, he did not have a clear understanding of how credit or the U.S. financial system worked.

However, by working steadily, he managed to maintain a good credit score that, unbeknownst to him, would open the doors to the opportunity of acquiring a property.

Thanks to the guidance of a realtor, who is currently his real estate broker, Hernández found out that he qualified for a special program that offered 100% financing without the need for a significant down payment.

"He told me that there was a program called American Dream that gives you 3% of the property's value as a down payment. After two years and three months of being in the United States, I was able to buy my first house," said Hernández.

The realtor recalls that he didn't fully understand the process at that time, but the experience allowed him to learn and gradually establish his own company where he now helps other immigrants achieve the American dream.

"The aids I received still endure, and most working people use them to buy their first home. Those who work at companies like Amazon, USPS, UPS, Kroger, Walmart, or in factories and warehouses, such as the pig slaughterhouse in Kentucky, which is very popular, often follow this path."

"People who maintain a good credit history, have no debts, and work under the W-2 format (as employees) with their first two taxes filed, can apply for the American Dream through banks like U.S. Bank, and almost automatically buy," Hernández explained.

He assured that: "It's not complicated, at least here in Kentucky, where the salary is enough to buy your first house."

Darién Hernández is a persevering young Cubano. He remains focused on his personal goals and on promoting his company. He is an influencer on social media, where he shares his knowledge about the real estate market and tax management in Kentucky.
