A large number of pregnant women and mothers of young children gathered at the fourth Sunday service of the San Juan Methodist Church in Santiago de Cuba to thank God for the fruit of their wombs.
Pastor Darlon Bermúdez, leader of the congregation, shared on Facebook the event that took place in the afternoon.
"A large number of pregnant women arrived at our fourth Sunday service in the afternoon to thank God for the fruit of their wombs," he noted.
The images show that a large number of women, some with children in their arms, arrived at the church, located in the very heart of Santiago de Cuba.
Previously, also on social media, the pastor had announced "the worship to God to pray for her delivery and to anoint them with oil."
Bermúdez had explained that this was a way of praying to God, asking for help "in that important moment (birth)."
In May, a large group of motorcyclists in Santiago de Cuba gathered in front of the San Juan Methodist Church to worship and praise God.
Pastor Bermúdez was also the driving force behind the initiative and was responsible for blessing all the vehicles that their owners parked on the street in front of the church. Behind him, a parishioner anointed the motorcycles.
