A large number of pregnant women and mothers of young children gathered at the fourth Sunday service of the San Juan Methodist Church in Santiago de Cuba to give thanks to God for the fruit of their wombs.
Pastor Darlon Bermúdez, leader of the congregation, shared the event that took place in the afternoon on Facebook.
"A large number of pregnant women arrived at our Sunday afternoon service to thank God for the blessings of their wombs," she noted.
The images show a large number of women, some holding children, arriving at the church, located in the very heart of Santiago de Cuba.
Previously, the pastor had also announced on social media, "the service to God to pray for her delivery and to anoint them with oil."
Bermúdez had explained that this was a way of asking God for help during "that important moment (childbirth)."
In May, a large group of motorcyclists gathered in front of the San Juan Methodist Church in Santiago de Cuba to worship and praise God.
Pastor Bermúdez was also the driving force behind the initiative, taking it upon himself to bless all the vehicles parked on the street in front of the church. Following him, a parishioner anointed the motorcycles.
